This wine is produced from 40-45-year-old vines growing in vineyards located in the southeast of Spain, in the D.O.Yelca.
The vines are tended in limestone, clay and sandy soil. The average temperature during the growing season from April to October is 18/19c Celcius and annual rainfall is 330 mm. Barahona Barrica is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

Suitable for red meats, Embutido and cheeses.
Best enjoyed between 16c and 18c.
